Privacy Statment



Terms and Conditions of Sale

Tickets are sold subject to the following terms and conditions:

1.
All ticket sales are final. OBA is unable to provide refunds or exchanges on any tickets sold.

2.
OBA will not debit your credit card until tickets have been allocated to you.

3.
In the event that you depoit funds into the OBA account and there are no tickets available, a full and immediate refund will made.

4.
OBA reserves the right to change the evening's content, speakers, format of the dinner and venue.

5.
Tickets are non-transferable.


E-COMMERCE AND PRIVACY

Our Security

We use the very latest encryption technology (SSL) to protect your credit card details. This technology is widely used to deliver secure transactions over the Internet. We reserve the right to ask for additional identification before tickets are issued.

Privacy Statement

OBA is committed to protecting the privacy of your information. This Privacy Policy details what we might do with personal information about you which we may obtain when you register or pay for tickets.

Why we collect information

We collect information in order to:
  • process your registration details for oba.com.au;
  • record your placement of orders;
  • keep a record of our dealings with each other;
  • send you notices about products and services we offer.

We will use personal information about you only:
  • as you consent;
  • for purposes related to the reason you gave us the information for, and even then, only if you would reasonably expect us to use it; or
  • in statutorily required law enforcement, public health or public safety circumstances.

We will not disclose any personal information about you, except:

Security and confidentiality

We have implemented procedures and installed equipment to safeguard the security and confidentiality of your information. We continually review these arrangements to ensure we are doing all that is reasonably and technically feasible at the time to protect your information, although because of the nature of the internet, we cannot guarantee that it is totally protected from hackers or misuse.

Access

If you believe any information we have obtained concerns you as an individual, you may ask us for access to this information and, if we are reasonably able to do so, we will give you this access. If you want to access this information, please send your request to privacy@oba.com.au. If you believe our information about you as an individual is inaccurate or outdated or is misleading because it is incomplete and you wish to change this information, please send your request to privacy@oba.com.au. We will then amend the information as you request, or give you reasons why not.

Credit Card Security

OBA utilises a technology called SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) including 128bit encryption.

Your credit card details are only used to fulfil your purchase or booking, and are securely stored. They are not used for any other purpose and will never be supplied to a third party.


Our Delivery Policy

Tickets will be sent using Australia Post. OBA is not responsible for the time its takes for the goods to be delivered or condition they arrive in.


OXFORD BUSINESS ALUMNI INCORPORATED (OBA) END-USER SERVICES AGREEMENT

This End-User Services Agreement is an agreement between you (the "User") and OBA (the "Provider"), ABN 57 024 526 594.

ACCEPTANCE OF AGREEMENT

This Agreement comprises the entire agreement between User and Provider.


SERVICES

Provider is providing User with access to its internet pages under www.oba.com.au.

Provider reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Services with or without notice to User. User agrees that Provider shall not be liable to User or any third party for any modification or discontinuance of the Services.


INDEMNITY

User agrees to indemnify and hold Provider and its, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of User's use of the Services, User's connection to the Services, User's violation of this Agreement, or User's violation of any rights of another party.


DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS. PROVIDER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. PROVIDER MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICES WILL MEET USER'S REQUIREMENTS OR THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR FREE; NOR DOES PROVIDER MAKE ANY WARRANTY AS TO THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICES, OR AS TO THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICES. USER UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES THAT ANY INFORMATION, CONTENT, DATA, OR OTHER MATERIAL DOWNLOADED OR OTHERWISE OBTAINED THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICES IS OBTAINED AT USER'S OWN DISCRETION AND RISK, AND THAT USER WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO USER'S COMPUTER SYSTEM OR ANY LOSS OF DATA THAT RESULTS FROM THE DOWNLOAD OF SUCH MATERIAL OR DATA. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED BY USER FROM PROVIDER, OR THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICES, SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN.


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

USER AGREES THAT PROVIDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES. USER FURTHER AGREES THAT PROVIDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM INTERRUPTION, SUSPENSION, OR TERMINATION OF SERVICES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, WHETHER SUCH INTERRUPTION, SUSPENSION, OR TERMINATION WAS JUSTIFIED OR NOT, NEGLIGENT OR INTENTIONAL, INADVERTENT OR ADVERTENT.
